Location

The Amhurst Hotel is situated in North London. The nearest underground station is Manor House. Located in zone 2 on the Piccadilly Line and Seven Sisters, which is in zone 3 on the Victoria Line. Stamford Hill Railway Station is located in zone 3 and is located in the same street as the Amhurst Hotel a 3 minute walk from the Hotel.

Stamford Hill Broadway is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. It offers a large selection of shops & services, there are 4 major supermarkets, 5 major U.K Banks, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Along with take away & delivery services, phone shops, sweet shops (kiosks),fresh fruit & vegetable shops, a Petrol/Gas Station.

There are also many natural open parks within the area. The largest is Finsbury Park, which has a small athletic stadium, tennis courts, football & baseball facilities, along with a boating lake. Children's playground area.

With access to the major underground and Bus routes being within a 10 minute walk of the Amhurst Hotel, all major tourist attractions and places of interest like Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, Leicester Square, Hyde Park, Euston, Kings Cross the London Eye, and Westminster & Big Ben are all but a 30 minute journey.

It is also possible to cycle to all destinations mentioned from the Hotel, the journey times are approximately the same as taking the underground or a bus, cycle lanes are provided throughtout Central London. Built to benefit and support the cyclists, there are also locations throughout Central London were you can lock your Bicycle for free.

Liverpool Street is a 15 minute journey by train from Stamford Hill Railway Station, from there, London Bridge is just a 10 minute journey with the 149 Bus, which is also available from Stamford Hill Broadway, a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Stoke Newington Railway Station is a 15 minute walk from the Hotel, a short walk away is Church Street that offers a large selection of fine bars, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, small and unique furniture & clothes shops. It also offers a street festival in the summer months, near to Clissold Park, were there is a small children's zoo located within the park.

The Angel Islington is a 30 minute journey on the 73 or 476 Bus route from Stamford Hill Broadway. Over the years, the Angel Islington has become a common place for people to visit. Offering a wide range of continental restaurants, along with bars & lounges with styles from around the world.

Finsbury Park, which is also located on the Piccadilly Line, is a 15 minute journey from the Hotel by Bus from there. Alexandra Palace, which is one of the most versatile and visually unique venues in London is a 20 minute journey with the W3 Bus (30 minute by Train). Located near Wood Green which can also be located on the Piccadilly Line and has a large selection of high street stores and the Shopping City, shopping Mall.

With the Hotel being located in prime location of North London we are a 20 minute journey away from both major North London football Clubs. The grounds being Highbury Stadium, which is Arsenal Football Club. The second being White Hart Lane Stadium, which is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

From Heathrow Airport
Take the Underground (Piccadilly Line) to Manor House underground/metro Station, exit the station were it tells you buses to Stamford Hill/Tottenham, then take a 253 or 254 Bus and get off at the 4th bus stop, you will be just a few metres from the hotel.

From Stanstead Airport
Take the train to Liverpool Street Station, then go to Platform 9 and take the train to Stamford Hill Station, when you come out of the Station turn right, the Hotel is a 3 minute walk from the station.

From Gatwick Airport
Take the train to Victoria Station, change to the Underground (Piccadilly Line) at Green Park Station or Finsbury Park, then go to Manor House Station, exit the Station were it tells you buses to Stamford Hill/Tottenham, then take a 253 or 254 Bus and get off at the 4th bus stop, you will be just a few metres from the hotel.

From Luton Airport
Bus Station take the Shuttle Bus to Luton Airport Parkway. From there you will need to take the Thameslink Rail and get of at Kings Cross Thameslink, from there walk to Kings Cross St.Pancras Station were you need to take the Piccadilly Line to Manor House Station, when you get to Manor House Station exit the Station were it tells you buses to Stamford Hill/Tottenham, then take a 253 or 254 Bus and get off at the fourth bus stop, you will be just a few metres from the Amhurst hotel.

Bus routes information
If you are arriving by Eurostar to London Waterloo Station you can take the number 76 bus towards Tottenham/Swan you will need to get off at Stamford Hill Broadway.

From Victoria Station take the number 73 bus directly to Stamford Hill Broadway, The Hotel is a 5 minute walk down Amhurst Park Road from Stamford Hill Broadway.
